Transfers to/from Guilin
To/from the airport
We can arrange for a suitable vehicle to pick you up from any flight arriving in Guilin airport. You let us know how many people and the flight details and we will do the rest.
The driver will carry a sign bearing the name you give us. Guilin airport is not big so this is usually fine. If you cannot find your driver within a reasonable time then call my mobile: +86 138 0773 5773.
If you know your flight is going to be delayed and you can call us at least two hours before the original arrival time then we can re-arrange the transfer. If you are not able to call, the driver will still wait for up to 3 hours after the expected arrival time without additional charge.
To/from the train station
Local buses leave for Yangshuo from right outside the train station. Just beware - they are apt to try and charge foreigners too much. The fare is currently RMB 14 with no extras for luggage etc. There have been numerous cases of bags being cut open on these local buses. Be vigilant if you choose to use these.
We would recommend you walk up to the main bus station and take the Express Service from there. Turn left out of the station and walk about 600m along the main road. The bus station is on the same side. Go through the waiting room and there is a small ticket office on the left. This sells tickets to Yangshuo. This service costs RMB 15 and is much safer. We are not aware of thefts on these buses.

Other transfers
We can arrange other transfers on request. This could be from Pingan (Longsheng Rice Terraces) or even furtehr afield. We have arranged buses as far afield as Liuzhou for groups.
